Shipping and Returns Policy
Shipping and Delivery:
Shipping is free in certain Ontario postal codes, and we offer local delivery in the following areas:
Mississauga
Brampton
Milton
Oakville
If your shipping address is within our delivery zone, the option for Local Delivery will appear in the Delivery menu when you are checking out. If this option does not appear, it means you are outside of our delivery zone. In this case, you will see an option for Canada Post shipping. Local deliveries are generally made once a week on Saturday and/or Sunday.
We have a 15 day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Please note that bulk orders and special orders are not eligible for refunds.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same saleable condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Alpha and Omega Books is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during the return process.
To start a return, you can contact us at alphaandomegabooks@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, a credit will be applied to the credit card you used to make your original purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at alphaandomegabooks@gmail.com.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your purchase is defective, or we sent you the wrong item, we will credit you for the item and for the cost of return postage.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
